Infotainment in Journalism: The Show in the Presentation of the Web Magazine “Fantastico”

With the advance of the means of media communication, the television turned into a new factory of shows, and with the invention of new technologies, the mass communication gained a new shape and a new social group that turns into being fascinated by elements that create harmony to all the content. To follow such trend, some journalistic products reinvented themselves through the infotainment. This paper, therefore, has as objective to demonstrate how the show is present at the presentation of Fantástico, broadcasted weekly by Rede Globo. The approach will be done from the descriptive analysis of two news report presentations, aiming to show how the journalistic product is shown in the shape of show, entitled to information, soundtrack, attractive scenery and presenters who highlight the news reports.The conclusion is that the program meets the viewer's hunger for information and entertainment, even in hard news.
